Cell Phone Deal

I’m thinking about moving from Nextel to Cingular’s 3G network. Is it
possible for me to get POP3 mail on a Cingular phone using either the
Samsung A707 or LG CU500 phone? I want to be able to get my comcast
mail and surf the net with a Media Max 200 plan. I do not want to go
with the PDA or smartphone due to the high monthly cost of a data plan.

I got differing advice when I spoke to a rep at the Cingular store and
when i spoke to someone else over the phone at Cingular customer
support. Most don’t even know what POP3 is and I seem to get a
different answer every time.
